The Cost To Set Up

One of the things potential consultants often ask me is, "How much is it going to cost for me to get into business?" The answer is about as little or as much as you want to spend. On one hand, you might spend $12,000 getting into consulting, which would be to me a lot, but on the other hand, if you have a computer and you have a cell phone, you basically have to put together your free internet and do a free website, I should say, and then a little advertising and you're going to be a consultant.

The barrier to entry is very low, the cost to get in I'm saying is anywhere between $0 and $2,000 to get started. Why don't you get started as a consultant? You can start part-time, get your first client. Just work from there. You'll be very successful in just a short period of time.
