Sliding Into Consulting

Are you wondering how easy it is to get started in consulting? I gave a seminar once on an unrelated topic to consulting, and I had a friend in the audience. I asked her to stand up and talk about her profession. She spoke about her profession. She said, "And by the way, I'm starting a consulting group, and I'm just going to charge so much a month. You can now pass the paper around if you want to sign up." We only had about 20 people there. She signed up four people as clients right on the spot. Four people. She went from not being a consultant to a consultant with four clients in a half hour. Is it easy to get them if you're in the right profession? Do the right things, you'll become a very successful consultant.
